We price embroidery jobs 2 ways. We have our Large quantity pricing where we count stitches and quantity to come up with the price. We also have our Small quantity pricing chart, where you do not have to count stitches. This is for runs under 72 pieces and should make it easier for you to quote your customers.
Prices in the table above are for up to 5,000 stitches. Add .25 for every thousand stitches over 5,000. Scroll down for more info on pricing embroidery. All designs require a digitizing charge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MINIMUM CHARGES $20.00 Minimum charge on any left chest or hat size embroidery. $50.00 Minimum charge on any full size embroidery All prices are based on normal size designs and normal garments. Oversized, difficult to embroidery garments or garments requiring extra handling may be extra. Samples $10.00 plus all pattern and tape charges. Metallic thread add .25 per piece. Special colors of thread (colors we haven't purchased already) $30.00
Thank you for visiting our web site! The Beauty of Embroidery Maybe the best feature about embroidery is that it doesn't matter how many colors in the design. (unlike printing) Embroidery is the best choice when lettering a variety of items. Say your customer is a business and needs 6 jackets, 12 sweats, 12 staff, and 12 tee shirts with a multi-color logo on a variety of colors of garments. Embroidery is the perfect choice it works equally well on all items and embroidery thread is very bright so colors show up well. For example if you put red ink on a black shirt the red gets lost, not so with embroidery. Embroidey is the best way to letter caps. The cap printing process is cumbersome especially when using muliple colors. With embroidery, cap lettering is a snap and if your design has a few colors the cost is about the same as if the job is printed, and embroidery is a much richer look. Embroidered Personalization These prices are for doing personalized shirt for example 1 shirt per name, or 1 shirt per number Embroidered Nic Names in Script....Bill Mike Hilda $3.00 per name Block Nic Names.....Janeyra Scott Janine $3.00 Names with numbers underneath or president, captain $3.50 Numbers embroidered on chest or hats etc. $3.00 Nic names removed $7.00 We will not be responsible for holes Font styles for the above are limited, there is no set-up charge Small Quantity Pricing On orders under 72 pieces you do not have to worry about stitch count. We have a set price for all orders. Left chest orders are for any designs 4" x 4" or less. Full size orders are for designs that are full front, 10" x 10" maximum. Regular embroidery tape charges apply. The reason we price orders this way is to make the pricing process easier for everyone. If you have a 36 piece order you don't have to bother sending your art and waiting to get a price back. Just look at the chart below for 36 pieces and your price is $3.25 wether you have 5,000 stitches or 15,000 stitches. LARGE QUANTITY EMBROIDERY PRICES Pricing depends on stitch count For every thousand stitches over 5,000 stitches add .25 per thousand stitches up to 600 pieces For every thousand stitches over 5,000 stitches add .20 per thousand stitches over 600 pieces "average" stitch count is 7,500 stitches...for example 400 garments with 7,200 stitches the price would be $2.30 to sew Digitizing and Tape Charges. (our art room fax) To quote a design we usually only need to see the size and anticipated quantity so a fax will usually be fine for quoting purposes. Although we list embroidery tape charges at $15.00 per thousand stitches we usually will quote less, especially on large orders. Designs made from our keyboard with stock logos $15.00 We have many stock fonts and stock designs. For only $15.00 we can make some great embroidery tapes. This is especially useful when your customer doesn't have a specific logo they need. Also for sports teams, bars etc. We have a link at the bottom of this page to Dakota Collectibles stock designs.
